Last year the event sold out, with over 180 sports leaders and practitioners attending the forum from a cross section of sport, government, academia and the community. This year’s diverse program once again applies to a broad range of individuals and organisations involved in the sport and active recreation sector. It also relates to those working in the diversity and inclusion space who are looking to learn from some of the issues and strategies developed to address these issues.
We keep costs for attending to a minimum. This is a non-profit event. The support we get from partners and registration fees cover the costs of running the forum each year. The Forum registration fee is $180 that includes all Forum material, lunch and morning/afternoon tea. And there's free parking on site!
The 2019 Diversity and Inclusion in Sport Forum is a collaboration between Play by the Rules, the Centre for Multicultural Youth, Monash University, Victoria University, Oliver and Thompson Consultancy and the Office for Sport NSW. Our supporters include the Office of Sport NSW and Sport Australia.
