Yes I definitely some tips for MPIOs coming into the role would be when you are approached and you can say that the person is you know maybe physically distressed about the situation is just even for yourself or you to remind that individual to take a deep breath and remain calm for the MPIO themselves just to realize that this is about the individual and to actually become actively listening and asking questions when they be suitable to find out more details and to to take notes. Another thing is to remember to remember to refer back to the club's policies and procedures especially the member protection policy that the club may have in place because that will have detail there. The process that's involved if a person does want to escalate a problem or at different bodies they might like to approach.
