As a result of the National Integrity Framework and the changing landscape in which Play by the Rules (PBTR) operates, a National Review of the PBTR Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) Program was undertaken in 2022/23.
Over the same time period, a review of the National Integrity Framework was also undertaken by Sport Integrity Australia, with updated integrity policies released in July 2023.
As a result, the timeframe to implement the MPIO Review recommendations has been extended, with new training materials now expected to be released by November 2023.
