As a parent you should be aware of your clubs responsibilities. At the same time you also have responsibilities and you can play a huge role in creating a safe environment for your child.

Since 2016 Play by the Rules has been a part of the annual Diversity and Inclusion in Sport Forum - a one day 'TEDx' style event that seeks to raise the awareness, understanding and thinking around diversity and inclusion in sport. Megan Mitchell is Australia’s first National Children’s Commissioner at the Australian Human Rights Commission, appointed in 2013. Megan has previous experience in both government and non-government roles in child protection, out-of-home care, youth justice, disability, and early childhood services. In her role as Commissioner, Megan focuses solely on the rights and interests of children, and the laws, policies and programs that impact on them.
